Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984

(C2151 Fiery Hill Road, Barnt Green) (Temporary Closure) Order 2025

Proposed Order: to close that part of C2151 Fiery Hill Road from its junction with B4120 Kendal End Road to its junction with Cherry Hill Drive (NSG Ref 04700220).

Reason: Drainage and flood alleviation work by WCC.

Exemptions: to permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.

Alternative route: C2151 Fiery Hill Road (part), B4120 Kendal End Road, B4120 Barnt Green Road, B4096 Rose Hill, B4096 Old Birmingham Road, C2151 Linehouse Lane, C2151 Fiery Hill Road (part) and vice versa.

Maximum duration:18 Months. Anticipated duration: 2 days Commencing:17 February 2025

(C2161 Sandhills Green, Barnt Green) (Temporary Closure) Order 2025

Proposed Order: to close that part of C2161 Sandhills Green from its junction with C2173 Aqueduct Lane to its junction with U23221 Sandhills Lane

Reason: Remove and replace Carriageway patches by Severn Trent Water.

Exemptions: to permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.

Alternative route: C2161 Sandhills Green (part), C2161 Callow Hill Road, C2161 Tanyard Lane, C2291 Birmingham Road, B4120 Bittel Road, U23221 Bittel Lane, C2161 Sandhills Green (part) and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months.  Anticipated duration: 1 day Commencing: 24 January 2025

 ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 – SECTION 14 (AS AMENDED) WORCESTERSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL

 NOTICE OF THE CLOSURE OF U21411 TWATLING ROAD, BARNT GREEN, WORCESTERSHIRE (“THE HIGHWAY”)

Reason for restriction: Gas Escape. There is a likelihood of danger to the public or of serious damage to the road.  There is a need to close the highway in the following terms:-

The effect of this Notice is that no vehicle shall proceed along that part of the highway from its junction with B4096 Old Birmingham Road to its junction with Warren Lane (NSG Ref 04701140).

This provision shall continue in force for a maximum of 21 days; however, it is anticipated that it will remain in force for 7 days (24hrs) commencing 11 December 2024.

Alternative routes: B4096 Old Birmingham Road, U21419 Lickey Square, U21411 Twatling Road (part) and vice versa.

Nothing in this Notice shall prevent at any time access for pedestrians to any premises situated on or adjacent to the highway, or to any other premises accessible for pedestrians from and only from the highway.
